Service Description

This course is perfect for beginners or for established artists who want to brush up on their fundamental art skills. Classes are held every Tuesday [Lecture] and Friday [Critique/Q&A], from 5 PM-7 PM+ PST through Zoom. Introduction to Fundamentals: Part 1 [October 12th & 15th] - Understanding Gesture - Understanding Structure - Understanding How Light and Shadow Work - Understanding Color Theory Introduction to Fundamentals: Part 2 [October 19th & 22nd] - Understanding Use of Color Palette - Understanding Drapery/Clothing - Understanding Use of Perspective (buildings, vehicles, props etc) - Understanding Perspective with the Human Body and "Eye Line" Introduction to Fundamentals: Part 3 [October 26th-29th] - Understanding Anatomy of the Upper Body - Understanding How Color Applies to Rendering a Form - Understanding Rendering (Light and Shadow on a Form) - Understanding Anatomy Lower Body Introduction to Fundamentals: Part 4 [November 2nd-5th] - Understanding Hands from Various Perspectives - Understanding the Human Head from Various Perspectives - Understanding Using Temperature and Value [Warm vs Cool/Dark vs Light] - Understanding Feet from Various Perspectives All classes are recorded for those who are unable to make the live class. Video recordings are available within 24-48 hours. Refund Policy: Full refunds are available until October 1st, 2021 11:59 PST. Refunds after October 1st, 2021 will be available in the form of credits. *All instructors will be present every week to teach the lesson.
